Scratch Messiah

District Messiah
 
On the 14th of December at Reigate Methodist Church, there will be a District Messiah to celebrate the new organ and to bring us together for a social event as a District.  There will be a run through at 2pm, followed by a tea and then the event itself at 6pm (see attached flyer).  We will be singing the first section (the Christmas bits!) plus the Hallelujah Chorus and hope to bring together a massive choir as choirs and individuals from around the District join us for this fun event.  Come as individuals, hire a coach for your circuit, join with an adjoining circuit and hire a bigger coach, whatever works for you.  We will be using the Novello (Watkins Shaw) edition, the organist is Paul Leddington Wright and the Conductor Vicci Davidson, with soloists from the London Bach Choir.  This will be an event not to be missed.  The last time Vicci did this, we amassed a choir of 210 singers - let's see if we can beat that in the South East District.
